In every election since the Philippine democracy was restored in 1986, SLB has played an active role in the formation of a more responsible electorate and a greater sense of citizenship among Filipinos.

It has done so by developing modules and implementing seminars for voter’s education and responsible citizenship. It has also helped in building the general public’s awareness and concern for national issues by and through coordinating and engaging its members, partners and volunteers for the much needed support especially in times of national crises (e.g disasters, typhoons, floods, etc.)

And in order to provide a competent and wide-changing service, SLB also gathers an experienced and varied team especially chosen for their skill, dedication and values as resource speakers and guides. Since attention to the Spirit of Christian Faith is such an important dimension of our service, team members consisting of Jesuit brothers, scholastics and priests are also chosen for their expertise in various disciplines such as theology, philosophy, psychology and spirituality.
